We Hacked an Ink Tag

February 20th, 2013

I recently took one of my boys shopping for a suit jacket to wear for a speech competition. Later that night (much later) we realized that the ink tag was still attached to the jacket. It was too late to take the jacket back to the store so we had to figure out how to remove the tags ourselves. We found several You Tube videos that documented the procedure and gave it a go. The following short videos show the process we went through. Were we successful? Or did ink explode all over my living room and the new jacket? You will just have to watch and see….

Now all they have to do is practice and get it down to 30 seconds and all future clothing for the family is free! Love that it was a group activity. We had to do this with a library dvd recently. Love the interwebs.

Brilliant! Happened to me once. Never thought to google that one! Just got pissed and took it back to the store and gave them hell while they removed it.
