The Weekly Flower Picker Strikes Again

June 8th, 2011

This week I’ve got some delphiniums blooming by the stoop.

In mauve…

And purple…

I’ve got some terra cotta yarrow blooming by the deck…

And a few orange coneflowers including this mutated one that reminded me of last year’s freaky flower.

And finally, I plucked a few dianthus from the base of my fancy garden urn.

This week’s bouquet.

She is a colorful one!

LOVE IT! the rain in your part of the country has received has obviously been good. Oh, again I love your urn. I have one like that that is enameled in off white. I prefer your zinc coated wash tub and the nice thing is they have holes in the bottom for drainage. got mine years ago at a auction place here in Houston. They would get all their things from Great Britain and I have some unique finds. I miss it since the owner of auction house died well over 10 – 15? years ago.

Gorgeous. Simply gorgeous. And I always love the shots of your garden urn.

There’s nothing more pretty than a melange of flowers in a white stoneware pitcher. Gorgeous!

Beautiful! Alas I have no flowers yet – I may not have very many this year ( sniffle, whimper) So glad that I can look at yours – I miss mine so!

  • Petalz:

I love the yarrow, and hadn’t seen that color. I’ve seen yellow yarrow in herb beds. What can you do with yarrow ? Beautiful flowers.

  • Just beautiful!!! :)
