Mister Mule Train

August 15th, 2010

On our last day in Wyoming…

We rode horses up into the mountains outside of Cody.

We met a mule train coming down as we were going up.

Strangely, I never noticed the mules.

  • I totally agree with you. Keep driving right the mass of humanity that is Yellowstone in summer and go up to Glacier Park and then cross into Canada and see Waterton Park. They are both spectacular!

  • Tracy:

    Oh my!

  • Sharon:

WooHoo!!! PW should take notes, this is one a hot dude in a chaps and a cowboy hat.

  • You had me at “Our last day in Wyoming…”

  • We’ve spent about a week each year in the Tetons with family. They are moving to Hawaii now, and I’m really sad to think we’ll never have those wonderful vacations again.

  • LucyJoy:

    I love Cody, too….

  • Yowza!

  • Carol:

DAAYUMMMM! I would’ve had all I could do not to drool all over myself. Thanks for sharing!

  • Samantha:

Now that is what I call some mighty-fine chaps!!!

  • Holy hell… those are some fine lookin’ mules.

  • OH My- it’s a good thing he was wearing that down vest to keep him warm, since obviously his shirt didn’t have any buttons….
    poor thing…

    • Rechelle:

I like to think of him as ‘prepared’ for anything.

  • Mules?? you saw mules?? You should have taken some pictures of them..just saying.

  • Kris:

Hell PW ain’t got nothin’ on you Rechelle…I’d look at that mule train any day of the week than some rancher’s saggy a$$ in Oklahoma.

  • Tammy S:

    Mules? Huh?
Ok, I’ll take your word for it…

  • GA IN ga:

    Nice . . . ah . . . smile. Yes, that’s it. Nice smile!

  • carrie W:

He seems to have worked so hard the buttons just fell off his shirt. That is a shame.

  • Texas:

He can come over to my house to get those buttons sewn on that shirt.
No – wait – I’ll just go to his place….

  • Wait, What? That made my night;) It will also make my morning and noon. He is now my screen saver, and smile maker……

  • Trudy:

  • Linda C:

I can’t see the mule’s I am stuck on Mr Mule Trains chaps. Nice!

  • I dream of being about to pull off this look, but anytime I mention to my wife that I might wear chaps, an unbuttoned shirt, and a down vest, she just grimaces. There aren’t many sexy options for an overweight 40 year old with a big ol’ head like myself.

Before I die I want to wear leather pants.

  • M.R.:

    What mules?!?

  • Kathy from NJ:

He reminds me a little of Harrison Ford. I hope you don’t mind but I sent the link to this post to my sister and a friend – people who would appreciate the pictures of the mules. My friend sent the link to a dozen of her friends, I’m wondering how long it will take for this post to be seen by the whole world. Your best post ever, by the way.

  • Nanc in Ashland:

Well who doesn’t love a hot guy in western wear! Although I’m a little confused about why and how he might be leading a mule train because I did manage to glance briefly behind him and saw only some sort of pack animal and nary a cute shoe in sight!

  • Suzanna:

Hot Damn! Did that almost make you believe in God again???

  • Michelle Z.:

Holy Crap. I’d have jumped off my horse and joined that mule train and my family would have never heard from me again.
