Weeds in Wheelbarrow

July 28th, 2010

I gotta barrow, gotta barrow full of sunshine…

It was really late when I wrote that caption.

  • I’ll trade ya! I like your weeds much better than mine. I’ve pulled about 4 barrow’s worth of thistle. And I have the scars on my arms to prove it. Your weeds are pretty…and non-lethal.

  • Martha in Kansas:

I should send you the photo of beans in a barrow. A couple years back the beans on a catalpa tree got so heavy that a branch was nearly on the ground in the drive at the farm. I took scissors to it and cut off all the bean pods I could. It was an impressive mess of them, crammed into a wagon.

  • Lynn in WI:

    • Rechelle:

      Catmint. You are good Lynn.

      • Lynn in WI:

When I see folks buying more than one container of catmint, (it’s a popular perennial border filler up here), I feel the need to tell them one is plenty. They never believe me.

  • Kait:

    That’s awful purdy.

  • Sara:

I don’t know–if my weeds were that pretty, I might just leave them. But that’s just lazy ol’ me talking…
